On Nov. 18, the Alumni Relations Office (ARO) presented an exclusive, by invitation-only masterclass for alumni leaders in manufacturing industries. This is the first of a series of masterclasses where AIM adjunct faculty and operations management expert Professor Rene T. Domingo will share pivot strategies and best practices during a crisis.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Prof. Rene has been actively sharing his knowledge and expertise through various webinars with AIM alumni chapters and postings on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Attendees shared how they pivoted their companies when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. In return, Prof. Rene presented brilliant and straightforward strategies and practices that they can immediately apply to positively impact their businesses, leading to an epiphany for many of the participants. This culminated in a fantastic exchange of ideas and learnings based on actual experiences on the ground. All the attendees expressed appreciation for the lessons derived from the masterclass, ably articulated through the brilliance of Prof. Rene Domingo .
Here are initial verbatim feedback from the attendees:
“This group is very relevant for sharing ideas and an excellent learning forum.”
“It was a wonderful session, seems to be back in the AIM.”
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to Prof. Rene Domingo for coming on board with the idea of creating interactive, deep-dive sessions out of the nuggets of management wisdom he regularly shares on social media. We believe the masterclass is an opportunity for a meaningful and relevant thought sharing experience with alumni. We also thank all the attendees for accepting our invitation and actively participating in the pilot masterclass.
Please watch out for more announcements of upcoming masterclasses.
