On July 17, the AIM Alumni Relations Office (ARO) successfully hosted the BSDSBA Movie and Game Night at Team Energy Bridging Leadership (TEBL) Hall, bringing undergraduate students from Cohorts 2028 and 2029 together for an evening of learning, connection, and fun.
The featured film, Moneyball (2011), resonated strongly with BSDSBA students, highlighting the power of data-driven decision-making. The story of Billy Beane’s unconventional approach to building a competitive baseball team mirrored key principles in the BSDSBA curriculum—demonstrating how analytics, strategic thinking, and evidence-based insights can challenge traditional practices and drive better outcomes.
Adding to the relaxed and engaging atmosphere, attendees enjoyed a spread of pizza, pasta, popcorn, and chips. The shared dining experience created a casual space for students to connect, unwind, and build friendships beyond the classroom.
Following the screening, students engaged in friendly competition through games such as Scrabble, Jenga, Chess, and Table Tennis, creating opportunities for camaraderie and collaboration. The night concluded on a high note with an energetic karaoke session, further strengthening bonds among participants.
More than just a social gathering, the event served as an early touchpoint to introduce students to ARO, raising awareness of alumni programs and platforms while fostering a sense of community even before graduation. By creating meaningful engagement opportunities like this, ARO continues to build a strong foundation for lifelong alumni connection, participation, and support.
