Team AIM HIGH PINOY of the Asian Institute of Management landed a podium finish in the Optum Stratethon Season 2 Business Competition held from October 20, 2020 to December 11, 2020. Representatives of AIM in the grand finale were Mr. Jan Kenneth Antenero (left), Mr. Emmanuel James Agustin (center), and Mr. Alfred Miguel Aguado (right), of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) 2021 program of AIM.

 

Team AIM HIGH PINOY competed among top MBA schools with 10,000+ registered teams across Asia. The team battled through six (6) grueling rounds of strategy marathon and landed a podium finish as Second Runner up in the Business Track of the competition. The top 3 teams for the Optum Business Track were the following:

 

Champion          |   Nanyang Technological University (Singapore)

1st Runner-up    |   Xavier Institute of Management (India)

2nd Runner-up   |   Asian Institute of Management (Philippines)

 

Prof Mervin Pobre shared his expertise in Strategy Formulation and Implementation to the team, and helped them navigate the business case with his proficiency in the US healthcare industry. The Asian Institute of Management also won the STRENGTH in NUMBERS award, for the most groups registered in the competition, with teams from the Master in Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA), and Master in Science in Innovation and Business (MSIB) programs.
