Once again, the AIM Taiwan Alumni Chapter held a cheerful and successful dinner meeting at Peng’s Gourmet & Banquet in Taipei on December 3, 2024.  Prof. Heh Song Wang and 20 alumni joined the celebration, including Dr. Wen-Yen Pan (TMP1988), who is the former Chairman of Chinese Petroleum Corp. and current Chairman of CTCI Foundation.

AIM Board of Governor Stan Shih sent his regrets as he was unable to attend this year due to a previous appointment.  He did, however, send his warmest congratulations to the alumni.

 

 

The evening’s agenda covered AIM updates, the Homecoming events of FAIM, the Triple A nomination for 2025, and the election of a new Chapter president.  After the warm greetings and inspirational speeches by Prof. Wang and Dr. Pan, P. C. Chen, MM 95 and current Chapter President, gave a comprehensive update about all the new and future developments at AIM as well as the FAIM status, upcoming Homecoming events and invitations from FAIM and AAAIM, and then facilitated the ensuing discussion.  This was followed by the joyful recollection of alumni about their respective AIM experiences.

All attendees enjoyed the passionate conversations and joyous atmosphere during the 3-hour celebration.  As the evening was about to draw to a close, P. C. Chen was again elected as the Chapter President, and Dr. George Huang, MBM 94, as the Vice President for the 2025 to 2026 term.
