Four AIM alumni were awarded the “Movers and Shakers Award” at this year’s 2019 Asia HRD Awards. The four are: Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, MM 98; Tae Sook “Sugar” Han, MBM 84; Nguyen Thi Thuan, MDM 98; and Virgilio “Nonoy” Espeleta, MBM 91.
The award is bestowed upon HR professionals and practitioners who have had a significant impact on the HR community, organizations or society. In choosing the recipients of the “Movers and Shakers Award”, the judges look for trailblazers who “move” communities by “shaking” existing practices.
To be granted the “Movers and Shakers Award”, the nominee must have actively influenced changes and breakthroughs in people development, challenging the status quo and constantly striving for improvements.
The winners accepted their awards last July 16 at the Grand Hall at the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Science Campus in Malaysia.
