Being aware of the social malaise brought about by various dystopian leadership in our country, the Innovasians have always been keen in uncovering existing and emerging social gaps in our society. A social milieu where the plight of education is just… acceptable as it is.
We initially thought of ISKO-welahan where “Isko” stands for academic excellence and “welahan” pertains to the school of learning.
There were 2 parts of the program:
1. Students must be able to enter State Universities since it’s free.
2. Financial support from various companies and industries in the form of stipends will be provided and eventually employment for these deserving scholars.
The alliance with Ugnayan ng Pahinungod of UP Baguio complements the first part of the program (entitled EDUKARAVAN) while the Innovasians will provide the next part of the program; thus, completing the whole ISKO-welahan concept.
We laud the Innovasians for choosing the road less traveled and heeding the call of our future through quality education.
