In conjunction with the recent Asia HRD 2019 Awards conferment ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, FAIM leaders and winners of the Movers and Shakers awards:  Chairperson Prof. Thuan Thi Nguyen, Vice Chair Sugar Han, Cebu Chapter Past Chairperson Nonoy Espeleta and Bangladesh Chapter President Anwar Chowdhury, together with Sec. Gen. Gregorio Atienza, met with Malaysian alumni Marcus Ching, Phillipe Chow, Louis Oui, Dr. Zul Baharom and his spouse Ina, at Royal Lake Club KL for luncheon.  The four alumni winners of the prestigious HRD Awards spent quality time enjoying the generous Malaysian hospitality while embracing the splendor of nature amidst a wide variety of Malaysian indigenous food.

 

They also visited a heritage site featuring the 98-year old KL Colessium Cafe to enjoy colonial fine dining.  As a group, they reveled at the wonders of ecotourism green destinations in Putrajaya City, Cyberjaya, Genting Highlands & the Heritage City of Malacca.  In addition to being an alumni networking event, their visit was a real testament to the ingenuity of Malaysians in pioneering UN Sustainable Development Goals.
