Dear Alumni,

Greetings from AIM!

I am happy to invite you to another online Brewing@AIM session on June 3, 2022, 5:30 pm, for a highly informative discussion on Cybersecurity.  Prof. Michelle Antero, PhD, program director of AIM’s soon-to-be-launched Master in Cybersecurity, will be our featured speaker.

With the increasing role of the internet and digital transformation in businesses and society, there is a need to arm leaders and managers with the tools and knowledge needed to face the challenges brought by cyber risks and cyberattacks. Cybersecurity is a basic need these days.  It is about managing risks and safeguarding the organization against threats of damage, theft, or unauthorized access to systems and networks.

In the Philippines, potential economic loss due to cybersecurity incidents can reach as much as US$3.5 billion.  With the increasing reliance on online connectivity as a result of the pandemic, cybercrime is a growing threat and has, in fact, affected many organizations and businesses.  Securing an organization’s systems and networks and safeguarding precious data from theft and damage is paramount to keeping customers and investors assured of their safety and privacy.

Join us for a most exciting and informative Brewing@AIM session on 3 June 202, Friday at 5:30pm Manila Time, via Zoom.  The evening’s program is as follows:

5:30pm House Rules and Welcome Remarks
5:35pm Introduction of Speaker
